Royal Australian College of General Practitioners

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, commonly abbreviated as RACGP is a learning institution whose core duties and responsibilities targets general practitioners. The institution achieves these objectives through undertaking research, assessing skills held by doctors, as well as developing guidelines and assisting general practitioners in addressing numerous issues that crop up during their performance of duty. RACGP has also been at the fore front in developing innovations along its areas of interest as it seeks to improve on the general quality of service that it provides to its clients and the general community at large. This paper seeks to explore the institution in detail, assessing its mission and vision, its general activities, as well as analyse its strength and weaknesses.
