The Mission of the Old Savannah City Mission

Apart from providing shelter for the homeless, the Old Savannah City Mission offers other services, such as feeding the hungry, rehabilitating drug addicts, proclaiming the gospel, and restoring an ex-offender. Although it is a non-profit organization, the services are not entirely free, and the organization accepts payment through Medicaid or other insurance policies. Besides, the organization does not offer a sliding-fee scale but instead advises homeless families who cannot afford their services to seek help from cheaper institutions. Therefore, their services are profoundly helpful in the community.
