Leading in Cultural Context

The multicultural nature of ministry groups occasioned by globalization and migration of Christians has increased diversity in ministries that had been traditionally homogeneous, creating an environment that fosters convergence in places such as churches, thus prompting organizations to adopt a workable strategy that enables an environment where different skillset and differences are accommodated.  Hiebert (2008) postulated that building a multicultural team leadership is fundamental in attaining unified goals in organizations and averting possible conflicts.
