Teacher Leadership: a leadership culture in schools

The aspect of teacher leadership and how school administrators can create a leadership culture is also evident in my professional relationships. To nurture influential teacher leaders, the school must embrace an "optimistic and rigorous educational mission to promote teacher leaders" (p. 126). As I discharge my duties, I strive to maintain a cordial working relationship with colleagues. We work as a team to collectively attain the set goals. On the other hand, I have collaborated with colleagues to achieve assigned tasks when confronted with a leadership challenge successfully. The administration's role is to create and nurture a culture where teacher leadership can thrive, and the leadership in my school has consistently undertaken this role.
