Registered Behavioral Technicians in behavioral therapy

A Registered Behavioral Technician is an individual who is trained in working with patients who exhibit a number of behavioral issues and are therefore in need of developmental behavioral therapy. The job involves working with clients who have mental health problems; performing well in this role needs continuous training and development. A behavior analyst who has recently opened a practice has three registered behavioral technicians (RBTs) to train. This paper examines the process of designing an effective training program, to ensure that the RBTs are thoroughly trained.
