Psychological Testing and Assessment Selection.

To conduct assessments effectively and conveniently, counselors need to know the resources that can help them in the selection of appropriate tests, the factors they need to consider during the selection, and how they can determine the appropriate test for specific clients. No matter how knowledgeable a counselor is, an inability to use the available resources to identify the most appropriate tools and procedures for assessing specific clients to conduct accurate and meaningful tests. This paper explores the techniques counselors can use to effectively select psychological tests and assessments for their clients and resources that can help them do this. By considering these factors, counselors can make informed decisions that lead to accurate and meaningful results in the assessment process.
