Music as Art: music transcends entertainment.

Music is considered a form of art because it expresses an individual’s creativity and emotions, and appeals to people through its beauty and emotional power. For many years, experts in the fields of biology, psychology, neuroscience, physics and neuroscience have individually and collectively researched the structure, effects and functions of music. For instance, scientists have been able to learn more about the brain from the way music alters its structure. Music is also a form of treatment for patients with certain illnesses and brain dysfunctions. Music is powerful, and in some cases, it transcends mere entertainment and becomes art.
