Many video game musicians have worked for quite some time developing videogame soundtracks or have helped develop the music in the video game industry. Most video games are characterized with background music and soundtracks (Picture 1). Videogame musicians have consistently advanced throughout time to ensure that the videogames are interactive and appropriate for the players. Music is also important especially in rhythm games (Picture 2). Clearly, video game music is an additional incentive to the videogame industry which makes the video games more interesting and interactive for the players.
