The End of the Gaddafi Regime and War

In 2011, a popular uprising against the regime of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi began, which was part of a broader wave of protests that swept across the Middle East and North Africa known as the Arab Spring. The uprising quickly turned violent, with rebel groups taking control of large parts of the country and engaging in armed conflict with the Gaddafi regime.
