Clinicians treat Major Depressive Disorder with SSRIs. SSRIs for MDD include fluoxetine, citalopram, sertraline, and escitalopram. In some instances, clinicians prescribe Chlordiazepoxide for anxiety attributable to alcohol withdrawal.
