Non-profit organizations management and governance

Non-profit management is the process of governing and directing a non-governmental organization (NGO). It involves setting goals, planning and implementing strategies, monitoring performance, making decisions based on results, and managing relationships with donors.
Non-profit organizations play an important role in society by providing essential services to the community that would not be available otherwise. They provide education, advocacy work for social justice or environmentalism issues, support for community groups and facilities such as hospitals or homeless shelters.
