Hamlet: his father, was killed by his uncle Claudius

Hamlet is the story of a young prince who seeks to find the person who killed his father. He already suspects that King Hamlet, his father, was killed by his uncle Claudius who took over as king almost immediately after the king died. Due to the cultural setting of the play, the theme of divinity is prominent. For instance, in the first scene of the play, Hamlet is visited by the ghost of his father, King Hamlet who tells him that he was killed by his uncle Claudius. In confusion he asks the ghost whether it is an angel or a demon or simply a ghost of his father.
