Ethical Issues Surrounding Psychotherapy in Children

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPS) encounter numerous situations that call for their ability to make logical decisions and sound judgment for safety together with the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. Most of the cases that nurses come across do not have a clear-cut solution. Therefore, nurses have to apply their ethical decision-making capabilities to make the right decisions. Considering that nurses may encounter patients who hold a different set of values, interests, and principles, they must remain professional and provide care in an unbiased setting
