Citizen Privacy vs. National Security

In order to balance citizen privacy and national security, governments and organizations often need to make difficult decisions about how to collect, store, and use personal information. In some cases, privacy concerns may need to be set aside in order to protect national security, while in other cases, national security concerns may need to be set aside in order to protect privacy.
