Child Abuse and Physical Abuse Education

When a child undergoes any form of intentional harm, it is termed as child abuse. It can be physical injury, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, medical abuse, or neglect. An abused child may shy off from sharing the incident because the abuser may be a parent, relative or a caregiver. Therefore, it is importance to watch for any behavioral or physical change in the child. Physical abuse is a form of child abuse. It occurs when a child undergoes activities that lead to physical injury. It can be identified as marks, broken limbs, cuts muscle sprains, burns and swelling. If you encounter a child with unexplained injury, you should help the child seek appropriate help.
