Apple iPhone in China’s Mobile Market

Apple Inc. has grown to become a world leader in technology, more so in the cell phone, music, and entertainment industries. This is through the development of unique products such as iPhone cell phone model, the iPad for entertainment, and the iPod as a music device. In addition to these devices, Apple also develops the unique Macintosh computers. As a giant in the manufacture of unique and customer friendly phones, the iPhone, Apple has dominated local and international mobile phone markets. The mission of Apple Inc. to enter the Chinese market was to market iPhone handset products irrespective of the tough competition in the market. There is low customers' and suppliers' bargaining power in the Chinese mobile market. Rivalry and threat of new entrants are high but threat of substitutes is low.
